The sidewalk and retaining wall along the 9th street area are broken, crumbling, and falling apart. The city fixed the one across the street on 9th and Indiana, but not the one on the northern side of 9th and indiana. There is a trip hazard on this sidewalk. Is there also a way to put in a crosswalk on Indiana? People fly through this area and its not a speedway.
Curb is crumbling and needs repairs
The Sidewalk along smith road on the walk to University elementary is damaged, broken and barely even a sidewalk. Additionally cutout ramps are needed at the Apartment complex at the corner of Smith. the broken sidewalk is a tripping hazard and makes walking extremely difficult.
IU Packer trucks are having a hard time getting access to trash containers along 9th because cars are parking along the curb. The sidewalk was recently re-done but curbs have not been painted. Thanks Jill
Sidewalk caving in on the southside of second Street at Kroger
4600 E Morningside, some of worst sidewalk deterioration I've seen in town. I understand cutting homeowners slack at times, but please make this commercial property owner fix this to be accessible to wheelchairs and comparable again. This brand new curb now retains rainwater. Any plans to fix this?
I was using my power chair to travel to the other side of Landmark Avenue to find a working crosswalk. When I got to the portion of sidewalk that borders the Anderson Medical Product's back parking lot (where they park all their vans), there was a curb with no curb cut, so I couldn't get onto the sidewalk.
