Large shrub in front of house is so large that it is mostly preventing use of the sidewalk right there. House might be an IU property. Does City have jurisdiction over Campus?
The prior uReport was finalized by saying the issue was mitigated. I walked by this morning and it hasn't been mitigated. The missing sidewalk is on the west side of Sare Rd about 200 yards south of Moore's. It's across the street from the Verona Coffee shop. Here's the prior uReport from 2020: https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbloomington.in.gov%2Fcrm%2Ftickets%2Fview%3Fticket_id%3D173087&data=05%7C01%7C%7C96686622ce2641ad333a08db9e6eaddb%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C638277970417164676%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=KqGpEZxMRKpA1%2B1nF7GBbFKnVLL8kHbHvU%2BBswotpI4%3D&reserved=0 Closed by Driss Tahir Staff investigated this report and issue has been mitigated Thanks for looking into this again. Black top sidewalk put in by apartment contractors at Clarizz and 3rd looks like a turning lane!! Paint the curb and put walking sign on “sidewalk” ASAP please…. Tire marks already on curb where folks have hit it.
The city’s contractor AEG, who installed fiber optics in my yard, did a terrible restoration job of my yard. We’ve had two other companies install fiber optics and have had no problems with the restoration. Please contact me on how to resolve this issue.
Line of sight issues. Can’t see to get out of the alley tree plots are blocking my view to pull out. Very dangerous. I complained last year and nothing was done. Worse this year
Case #180877 can now be closed, Mr. Stewart. As we had predicted about a year ago, that tree has fallen over.
Overgrown vegetation on the north side of E First St is blocking the sidewalk
Along many properties along Smith Avenue drivers are rounding, curb curves and driving into peoples front yards. The intersections need to be re-engineered.. Also, there are many weeds between the sidewalk in the street.
Ever since the city installed curb bump-outs for on-street parking some years ago, drivers have been blowing out tires and ruining wheel hubs at the southeast corner of Maxwell Lane and South Fess, usually as they are driving south on Fess and turning east onto Maxwell. I know this issue has come up before, and various solutions have been tried, but something more substantive needs to happen -- either reduce the projection of the curb or get rid of the bump-out altogether. I would estimate 15-20 drivers a year hit this curb. Yesterday, it happened twice. One driver was lucky and just blew out a tire. The second had to call a tow truck, which we see over and over again. Each driver thinks he/she is the only one to do this, so they don't think to tell the city. Please do something to fix this problem. It's costing people time and money on a regular basis. Thanks!
