Sidewalk & Curb Complaints

2415 E Oakmont DR

Case Date:
11/7/2024

Numerous sidewalk issues in Rolling Oak due to street trees(particularly pin oaks) There are multiple places along Stands Road on the Rolling Oak subdivision side as well as on Rolling Oak and Oakmont. Included are a few pictures. There was some repair work done a few years ago but these places are now a huge trip hazard. I would appreciate your quick advisement on this issue. Thanks Laura Chappell

At the north edge of the sidewalk that goes under the railroad bridge on 10th Street, the black railing is broken and leaning into the sidewalk. It doesn't seem to serve a purpose anyway, can you just cut off a few sections on the north end? Or any other repair would be appreciated to help make the full sidewalk width usable and to make sure no one crashes into it at night.

Directly in front of the entrance to the Alley Bar, the brick sidewalk has sunk and is an extremely dangerous trip hazard. Numerous people trip as they are walking west or east on the sidewalk, and some have even fell. It keeps getting worse and worse. The bricks need to be removed, add some stone or concrete and relay the bricks. Thank you for your understanding!
