I let you know Damaged sidewalk: 8th and Collage that tripping hazard
Downspouts redirected to flow water directly onto and over the sidewalk.
The roots of a city tree have raised the sidewalk between Bruce Storm Real Estate and Taste of India. Eddie stated he has seen 2 people trip over the raised sidewalk.
Rental permit should not be renewed until property owner repairs the sidewalk in front of house. It is highly degraded and dangerous.
Sidewalk in front of house has degraded to a point that it is dangerous if someone used a scooter in the dark along this stretch, or even walking. Next time the owner applies to renew the rental permit, please stipulate that the current sidewalk be taken up and a fresh one poured to match the rest of that block and remove the current hazard.
The sidewalk in front of this complex (Townhouses on 10th) does not have ramps, just curbs, to cross the driveway to the complex. There is also a sunken area east of the complex entrance that is completely buried in dirt now (I'm not sure if it is on their property or on Woodbridge's, it is between). This makes it very difficult to walk through this area with a stroller and also makes it inaccessible to anyone unable to step down or up on a curb (and when it rains, the dirt-covered area turns into mud and gets pretty slick). There are some other areas that have shifted so the sidewalk is no longer even as well.
This pothole makes navigating this busy sidewalk hazardous. Wheelchairs or strollers can get stuck; pedestrians with mobility issues can easily trip and fall.
This is my second report on this issue: Water meter protruding approx. 2.5 in the *middle* of the sidewalk near 438 W Somersbe Place (county). I have seen numerous people trip and one person fell but fortunately was not seriously injured. It is only a matter of time until someone is. The liability is yours. We are having problems with scooters driving on the sidewalk, we would like this parking area removed, it takes valuable space for store sandwich signs (businesses are already struggling) and encourages sidewalk use of scooters. Thank you,
