Part of a sign post that was knocked off by some sort of car crash. The remaining post fragment is very sharp. If someone tripped on top of it, serious injury could result. On the west side of Union St just south of 5th St.
Serious erosion of retaining wall supports of multi-use path at south east corner of intersection. The retaining wall erected to support the new-ish multi-use path shows significant signs of erosion, as the gravel piled on the path-side of the blocks used to traverse the creek/ditch under the path has washed away in multiple places, and the drainage holes in the large concrete blocks are now exposed. During the huge deluge in 2020, the block's in this area literally shifted. I suspect that another big deluge could shift them further, and collapse parts of the path. When will the utility pole support cables be removed from the middle of the sidewalk? Thanks.
There has been significant erosion around the storm drain on the south side of Arden Dr., at the southwest corner of the intersection of Arden and High. There is a hole in the ground just above the curb that is open down into the sewer and presents a hazard.

I’m not sure what this is but it has left a large hole in the sidewalk. It’s off to the side so it doesn’t seem to be directly in the way of most foot traffic, but I figure it’s still a bit of a hazard. It appears to have half of a metal covering in it. It’s right outside the bluebird nightclub and that new Campus Craves place.
Metal stub from broken off signpost on west sidewalk (even side of street) is a major tripping hazard. It needs to come out, and until that happens it really needs a cone or something to make it visible to pedestrians.
