Pile of yard waste in driveway for 2 weeks now
We live at 806 W. 4th St., in Bloomington. Today, Tuesday, July 10 was our normal trash pick-up day, and also the day for yard waste pickup, according to Bloomington Sanitation's "yard waste collection schedule." We have two 35 gallon bins filled with yard waste waiting at the curb in front of our house. They are properly packaged, and under the 40 pound limit. While our garbage and recycle bins were collected, these yard waste bins were ignored, (although they have been collected on past dates) No note was left by the Sanitation Dept. workers. We appreciate this service, and don't mind the collection fee, but we were missed today.
Year waste bag not collected. 2 weeks now.
The yard waste for my neighborhood was not picked up yesterday (or today). Several of us still have our yard waste at the street. Could you look into this issue for us please? Thanks! Travis Thickstun 1707 E. Camby Lane (Bentley Court)
I had a yard waste container out with my other containers yesterday and they did not pick it up. Just wondering why.
We put our Christmas tree out Monday for pick-up on Monday since this is the last week for it and it was not picked up. The recycling crew shook the snow off and pulled it out further so it wouldn't be missed but it is still there as of this morning. My address is 807 S. Mitchell. Please advise on the best way to proceed. Thank you all so much for all you do!
I would like to know when the city will next pick up yard waste. I wish to avoid a HAND citation, as we have received a warning.
Deckard Homes maintenance staff blew leaves into intersection of 7th and Maple. Blocking lane and covering storm drain.
Sanitation Services in Bloomington are great! I have had only positive experiences. I have a question. Are pumpkins and gourds considered yard waste or do they need to be thrown in the trash?
