Two swastikas are spray painted on the B Line, just south of where it intersects with 6th Street (by the Foundry apartment building). It appears there might be another further north, just past Le Petit Cafe.
My home address is 412 S.High st.Bloomington, Indiana 47401, A black marker was used to make a 8 inch long design on my fence, the outside of my fence, facing Hunter Ave. There is no street light there, it is very dark at night. I took 4 photos of it today, before I use a kitchen scruper pad, and some rubbing alcohol to remove most of it. I then painted over it. Please let me know, email me, if this is a pattern that is happening in Bloomington. I have lived in Bloomington for 3 years. I was thinking of saleing my house, anyway. So if it happens again. I will definitely be saleing my house, and moving out of Monroe county. Bloomington is a nice college town, but not so nice anymore...
There's quite a bit of graffiti on the path and fence on the Poly Grimshaw trail right next to the Park Ridge park, including depictions of genitalia and other offensive items. This was previously covered by black paint, but the paint has worn away.
spray-painted lettering in bold, along with offensive (not necessarily racial/defamatory) vocabulary language, (American English/Hispanol an other foreign languages, etc.) in the jurisdictional/(legal) limit boundaries of Downtown Bloomington, IN, (residential/business/commercial) (U.S.P.S) Postal mailing zip-code(s): 47408(U.S.A), 47404(U.S.A), 47401(U.S.A), displayed across partially (1/4th/2/3rds) of (bldg/facility) exterior wall(s), (metal/wooden) fencing, etc.
This is on the west side of the bldg. I will have it painted over.
