I just read a thing the Mayor Hamilton put out about sustainability and residents and low-income people. Bloomington has the highest rent in the state. I guess my question is, don't you see you and the city council are creating it. These new apartment buildings getting put up for the students is the problem. All of these high dollar apartments with the super high rent, hell it takes multiple people to live there so a 1,000 to $ 3,000 rent can be paid one person can't to it nobody has a incentive to do low-cost housing or not tear down low-cost housing, so high-rise expensive apartments can be put up. I just don't understand you guys are the problem you keep letting this happen year after year you look downtown all them high-end apartments that you already know a local can't pay for. It seems to me you guys just let him do it and then return you know bribery is alive and well they donate money to the city's funds so sustainability fund. Please please deny this Tell me that it's not happening that I read everyday or every other week on the newspaper

If can't park at Cascades can you add safety enhancements. As south end feels deserted and crime prone. Thank you.

Police should wear masks, period. They are not above the law. And should know it helps. While they are at it, how about they actually enforce masks on out of town protesters who don't believe in them. Would be nice if the Mayor was in control of the officers and not the other way around.

Power went out again in Park Ridge East. Power should not go out this often. I know not directly under City control but City officials should be advocating for consistent stable power as a minimum for City infrastructure. I've never lived somewhere where it goes out as often and as for long as here. Can someone at the City please prod Duke to provide more reliable power? If there is anything we can do let us know but we need our elected officials to ring in.

So you guys are sanctuary city which like every other city cry if you think you're cheated out of tax money you scream and throw a tantrum. But you welcome thousand thousands of helical elements to Bloomington with your hand wide open in between though and temper tantrum. So here's my issue we know they can't get a driver's license yet you see hundreds if not thousands of Mexicans new to the state driving now, which are unable to receive a driver's license and yet you guys are just nicely looking the other way. I saw a wreck yesterday or one of them took off after the rep because they didn't have a driver's license this is unacceptable behavior from the city you guys need to address it

Twice, this morning (3/25) and yesterday morning (3/24) there have been TWO workers in the cab of a city pick-up parked in the roundabout in Park Ridge. Yesterday they were waiting to mow and today they were putting yellow tape around the shelter. I appreciate the work, but do you really want two people riding around together in a city vehicle clearly not able to engage in social distancing? Why not have them drive separately? Or work separately? Neither job seemed like it absolutely had to have 2 people. If the city wants citizens to take the rules seriously, we should see city employees doing the same. And your city employees doing this type of work should be valued in the same way as your city employees who are working from home doing "higher level" work. Thank you!
