City Performance

Seminary Park, 100 W 2nd St, Bloomington, IN 47403, USA

Case Date:
12/24/2020

Quit purging the location history of the complaints for seminary park. It’s obvious the city is doing so to limit what the public can see for various political/legal reasons. Someone needs to find out who is responsible purging these reports and that person needs held accountable. This cities agenda is so one sided boardering being illegal. Your “public” meetings requiring voices and votes (parks and recreation) are only promoted and people made aware through very liberal means/programs. I’m sure someone will just delete this post almost immediately but I hope my voice gets heard to as many as possible until then.

Sare & Cathcart @ Renwick Village, Bloomington, IN 47401, USA

For the love of god, PLEASE clear all brush, trees, grasses, anything growing into the side path on the west side of Sare Rd and the side walk and side path on the east side of Sare Rd from Moores Pike south to East Rhoher Rd. Both sides need cleared and cut back. Someone came out and cut back ONE bush that was overgrown but the rest of the problems down the path were barely touched and continue to reduce the side path to half it's original width. Same just north of Rogers and Sare traffic circle, on east side of Sare. It's been like that for years with little to no response to ureports or work actually being completed. The stretch north of Rhoher on eastside of Sare needs mowed REGULARLY. It is also severely angled, has rough broken surface and is not safe for anyone using a wheelchair or electric runabout scooter. Please send someone out that can take care of our tax dollar community investments. Thank you.

City workers replacing sidewalks on south side of 1st Street between Ballantine and Jordan has started well before 7:00 a.m., estimiate 6:20 a.m. for a couple of days now, violating the city's own noise regulation. It is not intermittent, but rather a cement truck continually backing up.

Is the City intending to abolish the police department? They are having official speakers at the rally with the official position to abolish police. Totally for ending police brutality, changing policing, minimizing policing, etc. But is Bloomington s intent to get rid of local police? That is concerning if so. I'd love to support a rally or effort the City is involved in to support black lives that does not take that position.

This isn't ok. Why is the City being silent on LGBT issues? BLM was just painted over a mural that was LGBT inclusive. BLM is true and good, but vandalizing a mural that shows the breadth of minority diversity in Bloomington is not. What about disability? The Asian community? Please keep doing good work for Black lives, and frankly even do better work for Black lives, but please please know there are many more of us that also need the City to step up its game.

Fireworks every night for a week is insane, and dangerous. Please move to one or maybe try nights a year. For those who still have to work this is very disrupting.

Please please make masks mandatory or demand the health department do so. I'm not sure who has authority on that. But 100 people at Switchyard Park tonight at baseketball court crowded without masks. Maybe 50% at stores, at best, wearing masks. This isn't enough to prevent deaths. We must do better and guidance and hash tags aren't enough. Workers, even city workers, are up close and personal without and we are terrified of what will happen when students come back. We've been lucky, other than the one nursing home, but that can change in an instant once an outbreak comes. Now is the time for decisive leadership. Please make this moment the right one for Bloomington.
