City Arborist told me to contact HAND for tree code violations. There are at least 1/2 dozen dead trees at entrance to The Arbors Apartments on E. Moores Pike. Several large limbs have fallen recently, causing hazard to people, dogs and cars. Manager is aware of problem & has said he plans to remove them, but weeks have passed & no action has been taken. I walk my dog on the path & road where these trees are & it frightens me to walk by them, especially on a windy day.
Dead street tree. It seemed alive this spring, but the buds all fell off.
I'm not sure if this would be a City of Bloomington issue or not, but I'm hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction. My wife and I moved into the house at 322 E. 1st St. last July and since we've moved here there has been an utility wire hanging down from the pole roped up on our fence behind our garage (the yellow one). There's also what appears to be a separate coax cable hanging from the pole on the roof of our garage. Our home was not wired for cable when we bought it so I assume it might be the previous line. We are hoping to beautify and clean up our backyard this spring and we'd like to get these wires taken care of. I assume they aren't hot, but I obviously don't want to test my theory. Who should we get a hold of to get this taken care of? Is there a way to tell who owns and is responsible for things dangling off this utility pole? Thanks, -James
The plant holder on the southwest corner next to the light post is broken and a section of the cement fell off completely.
My apartment complex (Campus Corner) holds mail until it is entered into their "system". I tried to pick up a package that was delivered yesterday, but they told me they couldn't give it to me until they entered it tomorrow, even though they knew it was received. After poking at it they finally went to look for it, then the assistant told me that their manager specifically instructed them to not look through the packages for anyone. This is definitely mail tampering and it has caused numerous residents to not receive their packages when needed, and the complex refuses to change its system.
The signage for the intersection of Arbutus and Atwater is damaged. The sign on the top of the pole is bent and turned and looks like it is about ready to fall off.
There is a silver Chevy Malibu without plates that has been parked in front of 3131 S Piccadilly for days. Someone pulls a car up behind it so you can't see it doesn't have plates.
The 2 hybrid elm trees in front of our house are dying. I think there are the same tree across the street that are dead. Can you please evaluate the possibility of removing them? Thank you.
