I am replying to an email from Adam Wason- he told me to tell my condo HOA to put up a sign ‘ no soliciting’ as a response to my complaint against Comcast for hanging a 24 inch flyer on my doorknob. I suggest the City either ticket xfinity, pass an ordinance requiring them to have a local phone number so denizens can call them and complain, or both. There is no local number only the Corporate Comcast.
Please remove the trash ( orange construction barrel) in the wildlife habitat at Sare Road / Creeks Edge Drive. And ask Streets/ Sanitation if they got the complaint ticket I filed WEEKS ago about it
Hi - there is a mosquito infestation in the woods between Oaklawn park & meadowcreek. I can see the trail from backyard. There was a cloud of mosquitos. It is a wildlife sanctuary there are what I believe rare birds I do not want it cut down but I want an arborist/ ecologist to assess if pine forests naturally have 2 feet of weeds, vines, underbrush. I googled misquote habitat & it says this exactly. Does the city own this easement ( trail)? If not - is it in city limits & issue a citation? I looked on city website there is a line here so I don’t know if the woods is on city or county side. There is a new disease in America , EEE, that mosquitos carry and it can be fatal or cause seizures. I know Mother Nature does their landscaping. The time has come for something to be done about the concrete railroad bridge that spans N. Adams Street. Yet another large piece has sheared off of the face of the bridge due to the pounding of the train as it crosses. The rebar is now exposed. Regardless of what "inspectors" say, we Bloomington citizens deserve better than to have a liability like this in our city. Inspectors aren't able to visibly see cracking and fracturing inside the bridge itself. If the face is shearing off, there are cracks throughout the entire structure. Demand that INRR replace this bridge.

The Royal Toyota South car lot has a loud speaker that projects its phone ringing for the whole world to hear. I am more than 1,800 feet away from the car lot, through the woods, and can hear the phone ring while in my house listening to music. Between 3:45pm and 4pm today, it rang 12 times. I've read the applicable section of the municipal code, 14.09.030(c)(4). The language that I find applies is, "the sound produced persists . . . intermittently for a period of at least fifteen minutes and can be heard outside of the immediate premises from the location." I have reported this noise violation multiple times with no resolution. Is the solution that I call the police every time the car lot is a nuisance? I do not want to waste the police's limited resources on something that should be easily resolved administratively by the city government (and with technology; can the car lot get a cell phone, a pager, an answering machine, something?). uReport Case #166220 did get referred to the police, who referred the case to city legal in January of 2019. The phone has continued to ring since that time. Can we finally get this issue resolved and bring some peace and quiet to the south side from this incessant noise violation from the car lot? I'm doing research on the workforce of Bloomington and I was wondering if you had information on whether the city government workers and/or the county government workers were Unionised and if so what Union they are with. If theres any more information you can provide for example if the Monroe County School Corporation.
