Please ensure the City has substantial activity and advocacy planned for Pride month this year. The prior administration largely ignored this significant constituency, including during Pride. LGBTQ+ people are under major legislative and personal attack, and this mayor needs to stand up for them as members of our community. Is there even a LGBTQ+ board or commission to provide valued input to the administration?

I live in Maxwell Terrace Apartments. I learned this morning that tornado sirens went off last night. I didn't hear a thing. On a previous occasion, the same thing happened--my upstairs neighbors didn't hear the sirens, either. Please check the sirens in this part of town. Hundreds of people live in this complex. We are near 2 churches a a couple of schools. Where are the sirens located? PLEASE CHECK THEM! Thanks.

See #188316. Same issue with too-bright street lamp now at 12th/Washington. Please be mindful of property boundaries when it comes to illumination and not cast light on houses, etc. Also, with the bright lights up it makes it all the more convenient for dragsters to drive extremely fast down 12th Street at night. If the City's intention is ostensibly to make the street safer, why not install stop signs somewhere, such as at Lincoln and/or Grant? The frequency of vehicles that taking advantage of the lack of any speed controls (signs, etc.) and that drive 40-50mph down the street during the evenings, night, and early mornings is angering.

On the East Side of Bloomington, at the light coming out of the mall onto 3rd, an unhoused person is standing in the road and blocking traffic. I have seen them holding signs in this area several times in the last week, often in precarious locations.
