I wish to report this as a "noise violation" to Capt. Pedigo. I think he will understand this report. There is a very loud red Dodge pickup truck that parks along the northbound side of Lindbergh St. The loudness of the truck is a massive disturbance to myself and the neighborhood. Why? He comes and goes all day and into the night. Back and forth and back and forth. Around and around and around. That much travel in and out of our neighborhood doesn't make for a very peaceful life here. Not only does he come and go constantly, but he revs the engine which is loud just by itself, and often peals out. It's a red Dodge pickup truck, badly beat up with a mismatched right rear wheel. It's extremely loud and disturbs the peace. Could you check into it for us? Thank you.

I wasn't sure where to send this to but hoping you can share these remarks with the Historic Preservation Commission: The HPC seems to have developed a recent tendency to focus not on the history of buildings and places but instead on what is going to be built in making decisions. I would like them to emphasize the former more, as believe it more closely aligns with their expertise and jurisdiction. Commissioner Derek Richey for instance posted to the History Club Facebook page about the Player's Pub building. Totally fine, but he also posted that implied scary, ugly, and expensive student housing would be built there. Let Planners and the City Commission deal with that. I'd like HPC to focus on whether something is worth saving, and if the only reason it is worth saving is to stop something HPC doesn't like instead of its historic value, that is not a good reason for HPC to stop something. I have no dog in the fight with this building - whatever happens is fine - but let's not use scare tactics and pseudoplanning. Historic districts are often pitched to neighborhoods as a means to enhance property values so complaining about how something high priced will go in somewhere is a bit hypocritical anyways. Also thank you for those times you all allow flexibility to creative development and reuse when keeping the old while adding new needed dimensions to our town.

My house borders the park. Those trees need trimming. Branches and debris fall into my yard more than usual lately. Someone should look at those trees and trim the dead branches.

I wanted to report that a city tree, that the city planted in the tree plot a couple years ago has been cut down, I assume by the adjoining property owner. Wanted the city to be aware of it, since you guys took the time and money to put it in.

I am not sure where to send this to but hoping you can share these remarks with the Historic Preservation Commission: I see that the players Pub is up for the HPC to decide if it should be taken down. I think it should. The place is about to fall in and is a eyesore to everyone in that area. I see that Derek Richey posted that he is wanting to keep because he does not want more Apt built in Bloomington? what is his job? seems like he has crossed the line and is trying to act as a city planning and not the HPC. He is trying to get all his friends to send in that is should stay so someone will not build new. That is not his job. He should not be able to post like this. Derek has crossed the line. I think it should come down and whatever goes in can only help the area out. Never heard of Boxman and I have been around my whole life. Tear it down.

Toter found at 113 S Gentry, not a part of Olympus Properties. We requested City pick-up, did not happen for several weeks, tenants used the toter, Republic Services refused to empty it. We removed it, stored it at Olympus Properties. Please come and get it!
