Since the end of the construction on 17th St, a crosswalk sign along with its pole has been lying on the ground. Several times, because it was an obstacle on the sidepath, I moved it to the side. The crosswalk is over 17th St just east of N Arlington Park Dr. It has curb cuts for a cross walk while it's not painted in the street. The sign should be either put up or taken away.
The property at 708 S Adams St. is in a very run-down condition and it is at times being used by homeless people and they have been caught carrying property out of the house. The police have been called on these issues. However, our church Adams St. Chapel own's the propertiy connecting with this house at 712 S. Adams St. and are concerned for our pastorial family who have recently moved in that there could be issues with people living in and coming and going in the 708 residence. We would like to get it boarded up or condemed so that it is off limits to anyone and we would feel much safer. Please let us know if anything can be done to get this place condemed as unfit for anyone to live in. The lady who lived in it was admitted to Golden Living Nursing Home and her name is Margret Lamb. There is a broken utility pole that may fall. I think it's being held up by whatever wires it holds. I'm not sure which utility it is. Location: Hillside, just East of High, on the South side of the street. Across from Covenanter Cemetery.
The City owns TWO Historic Buildings. The Waldron AND The Banneker. One serves white residents. The other serves Black residents. One is getting a $500k renovation. The other desperately needs roof, HVAC, windows, flooring, masonry and drainage repair. Recover forward should honor ALL residents of Bloomington. Black and white. Invest in The Banneker.
Please keep this anonymous. My Parents are my landlord and my Mom almost died from sepsis UTI can’t handle stress. These occupants have had sharp broken glass in common area for over 6 months. This is where I walk there probably should legally be an alleyway or sidewalk here - I’m not asking for that but I’m asking for no broken mirrors
There was a controlled burning of a house that had led paint on it on the corner of Hillside and High St. Found led-based paint on both mine and my in-laws' yard. Fire chief did not seem to care about properly removing the toxic paint.

I'd like to request a police patrol for the section of Eastside Drive between Hunter and 2nd Street. This area, particularly the parking lot of the United Presbyterian Church and adjacent rental properties, are sites of frequent noise violations between 11 pm and 3 am.
