Wanted to see if the parks and rec department could come take a look at the Beech tree on the north side of Maxwell (marker used above). Several really large dead branches that are dangerously falling in a piecemeal way. The overall health of the tree is in steady decline, and it may be easier for the city to remove it now before it is completely rotten.
Thanks!

I'm wondering if a woolen blanket was found on a bench in Bryan Park recently. I brought it for seating and think I may have left it there. 9/7/20

In the woods behind my home there is a tree which is cracked, and ready to fall. Next to the tree is a gazebo which the tree will fall on. The woods is city property, so not sure what needs to be done. Thanks!

Our side yard is a conservancy easement outside of the fence line. It seems to be dying based on grape vines taking over. We were told we are not allowed to cut down trees in this area, is this something the city would help with and if there are dead trees, would they be replaced?

Hello, There is a dead tree in the median located at the Winston Street entrance to Hyde Park. The tree recently lost a dead limb and it blocked the intersection. My neighbor and I cleaned it up but there will be more dead branches to come. The tree is next to the street light that was recently repaired (thank you!). Can the city cut this tree down?
Also, the sweet gum trees in front of the houses on the north side of Winston in the 2800 block have many limbs that overhang the street and often make contact with delivery trucks. Can those be trimmed as well? Thank you!

Maybe I posted it in the wrong issue line, sending again, as Windlow woods are maintained by the city- previous ticket #: 182007
SERVICE DESCRIPTION
After the last storm yesterday, dead trees in Winslow woods fell down, one towards my house, and some within the forest. I was told the woods are maintained by the City of Bloomington. Would you survey the dead trees to avoid possible damage to my property from Winslow woods forrest, and remove the fallen down ones. Also have a few fall down by my neighbors. Worried next storm will bring dead trees fall on my house. Thank you

There’s a map that says this tree is on city property. I submitted a request to Duke to remove limbs over the power line to the street light. They cut off a couple of small branches but left branches that pull on the wire when it’s windy. The tree leans over the wire. The part of the tree over the wire should be taken down. It’s a mulberry.

Please inspect the tree behind the New Hope dumpster that is on Park District strip of land. The tree is severally leaning and resting against another. It might be compromised due to last weeks storm. It might have been responsible for a smashed car windshield. If not there is some dead branches that are a risk to the New Hope staff and client parking on the North side of the property.
