Why don’t you recognize the number of complaints surrounding homeless issues…encampments, nuisance and harassment since 90% of your complaints surround this issue? The needs to be recognition of the severity of this issue and it starts with the city government recognizing how much influence has on the negativity and safety of the entire community Yesterday in front of the library the was a homeless person yelling at top of his lungs and flailing his arms at anyone the dared walk past him…the entire issue is treated a a pass along.

My husband and I are present members of the YMCA, and go this facility often. We are concerned about the lack of cleanliness of the locker room, bathrooms and the drinking fountains. This is a health risk to our community, with the potential for diseases. Also, the drinking fountain in the track area is warm, plus never cleaned. Another example is in the shower. I have seen something left accidently like a shampoo bottle, and I will see it there for weeks at a time. The shower smells of urine,and it is NOT clean. Again, we are very concerned about possible diseases. The health department needs to do an inspection. My husband and I have complained to the YMCA multiple times, but nothing has changed. During the fall of 2020, annual maintenance of the electric wires on the right side of the street (heading south) was done. I don’t know if it’s the city, Duke Energy, or a company who performs this task but today I am writing to complain about the results of the work. It affects the following locations * Beginning at 1816 S High heading south through 2011 S High * And again beginning at 2020 S High heading south through 2021 S High As an avid gardener, it is painful to look at the way the trees are trimmed in the first place. This is the most egregious offense. And just as important, the trees and limbs that were removed are randomly thrown on the ground and it is a visual eyesore. When I look at this I wonder why all the trees aren’t just removed from both stretches on South High? Who is responsible for this mess and what can be done about it? It is shoddy work and our town of Bloomington shouldn’t allow for it.

The property at 411 E Glendora looks abandoned and in bad repair. It was on Zillow as rental property. There is an old car on site and it has windows broken out. There is also a discarded chair at curb. Can you please direct me to proper office to report the property. I drive by it everyday and it’s getting worse and definitely an eye sore. Thank you

Please inspect the tree behind the New Hope dumpster that is on Park District strip of land. The tree is severally leaning and resting against another. It might be compromised due to last weeks storm. It might have been responsible for a smashed car windshield. If not there is some dead branches that are a risk to the New Hope staff and client parking on the North side of the property.

Clarification of ticket# 190254 Hidden homeless encampment of 2 people. Located in woods at corner of “The Crossing @ PeteEllis”, 812-339-1400. This spot is a heavily used Pete Ellis pedestrian crossing that should be free of distraction and threat.

The ac unit is screeching so loudly it is a hearing hazard. Please fix this can be heard inside building all day!

Hello, we have a Pin Oak tree to the west of our home that was affected by the storm. We wanted to check to see if this tree is on city property. While looking at the GIS it looks like our property line starts at our basketball hoop and the tree is to the west of that line. There are branches that are loose and it looks like there has been a lot of woodpecker activity in the past that is creating damage. Could someone please come out and inspect the tree and let us know what you think? We would love to keep the tree if possible, but safety-wise we would like to have it checked/trimmed up. This HVAC unit associated with the City Showers Building offices is a nusiance. I clocked the sound levels at 88 decibels. I made a similar complaint about a month ago. The screeching noise just keeps coming back. I can hear it in my office even. Please find the funding to do a proper ungrade to this system. I cringe when I leave my office building.
