RELEASE the surveillance tapes to the PUBLIC! You could stand to learn something from the Charlottesville Police Department!
RELEASE the surveillance tapes to the PUBLIC! You could stand to learn something from the Charlottesville Police Department!
Dear Mayor Hamilton, While driving on South Walnut today, I was directly behind a black and white car which obviously had been a police car. It still had the extra side mirrors as equipment and a police decal on the lower left panel. This sighting prompted me to write to you. I would like to inquire what the policy is for the City of Bloomington patrol cars which are auctioned. Are they stripped of any exterior equipment before they are sold? With crimes against the public, particularly women, involving individuals impersonating police officers, I would hope removing any visible signs which might confuse or falsely indicate these cars are police cars is a mandatory procedure taken prior to auction. Thank you for your attention to my concern.
Dear Mayor, After the events in Baton Rouge LA,, Falcon Heights Minnesota, and Dallas TX what can you tell Monroe County residents about race relations in Bloomington. How does the Bloomington Police department connect with minorities in our city. What are their outreach programs with citizens on Pigeon Hill? Can anything further be done? I grew up in Bloomington, attending Broadview Elementary, Central Middle School, and Bloomington South. I have always viewed our city as a melting pot. We have so many ethnic restaurants that I once said that you could find a restaurant for any kind of food you can think of.I am also, a white mother that believes #BlackLivesMatter. Thank you, Anita
blue Plymouth hatch back, Tennessee plate T09 97R (not sure if zero or letter O) was behind me as i traveled south on jackson approaching 17th, while i was riding my moped. the gentleman drove around me into the wrong lane to get ahead of me when were no more than 15 yards from the stop sign. i pulled up next to his right side and stared through his tinted window. he rolled the window down and rudely swore at me for looking at him. when i questioned his driving he told me i was just on a moped and that he had things to do. he had a mean look and several open sores on his face, he loked to be ravaged by the effects of meth or heroine use. when he asked if i had a problem with that i said yes, he then swore and struck his wheel, i felt he wanted to get violent. but he turned left onto 17th. i looked after him to get his plate number, he hit his brakes as if he intended to come back and attack me but then proceeded onward. if he's not a drug dealer i'll eat my hat.
I first saw this car back in November. It still has a temporary license plate. This is the second super car driver I've seen doing this in Bloomington. Apparently they don't believe they have to pay vehicle taxes.
I've lost my wallet. Saturday between 3:00 - 4:30. My address says 611 e University, we moved to 2373 S. Brandon court. When you receive this email please contact me to let me know you got this. I may have lost it at the recycling center, S. Walnut.
A black Nissan Maxima, license #272LIS, has been parked in the same spot for at least a month without being moved. This vehicle was reported two months ago for the same thing. Our street is bearly wide enough for two cars. Address is 1641 E Maplecrest Drive, 47408.
I'd like to request a police patrol for the section of Eastside Drive between Hunter and 2nd Street. This area, particularly the parking lot of the United Presbyterian Church and adjacent rental properties, are sites of frequent noise violations between 11 pm and 3 am.
Hi there. :-( I just wanted to report about my stolen shoes at the venue stage. There is a camera right above where the incident took place. I’m a dummy for leaving them there while I was roller blading with friends but I was trusting in the safety of the park... but i should have known better since homeless people have full access to the park. If you could at least look at that camera, maybe see where that culprit went... I’d like to go ask for my damn shoes back. Thank you. I’d appreciate any help even a little :-(
BBQ Train on 905 N Smith Rd, Bloomington, IN 47408 Noise complaint: Called the BPD twice and no resolve. Loud music that can be heard through my apartment walls from across the street.
