The person who lives at this address produces unreasonable noise on a regular basis in their truck. Most definitely this is a diesel truck and yes, those are louder than other vehicles. However, this person has the need to accelerate intensely on Fairview from stop sign to stop sign and then loudly accelerate the short distance to their house. This happens most every single day and multiple times as this person regularly comes and goes with and without a trailer full of equipment. According to Bloomington's Municipal Code section 14.09.040, unreasonable noise shall mean sound that is of a volume, frequency, or pattern that prevents, disrupts, injures, or endangers the health, safety, welfare, prosperity, comfort or repose of reasonable persons of ordinary sensitivities within the city of Bloomington, given the time of day or environment in which the sound is made. Also included, and described in more detail in Section 14.09.030 of the Bloomington Municipal Code, is unreasonable noise from cars including specifics about mufflers and baffles. It is unknown as to if this is an OEM/stock exhaust system but it is disruptive on a regular basis even when inside a house with all the windows closed. Thank you for your attention to this matter. There has been an increase in police vehicles speeding in my neighborhood, particularly down Rogers Street and Sixth Street. The frequency has increased in the last two weeks and has been rather alarming, loud, and unsafe.
Suspicious activity at 801 W 7th. A lot of people coming and going constantly. They don't stay long. Possible drug activity? Blue Honda Odessey van with three people and a dog now living on the property. Is this a licensed rental or a single family home? Woman who often drives the van seems disoriented.
There are two cars (one navy/black and the other white) that have been parked continuously in the parking lot for about a week or so. The people in the cars have recently started littering the park.
There's a housing authority camera that points at my front door. Sometime between 12:30 pm and 4:45 today domworipped open a Walmart bag that for delivered and stole a gallon jug of fabuloso.it doesn't seem like a big deal but I've lived here for over 3 years and I've never had anything stolen. I also have other items coming and they cost a lot more. I would like to have someone access those camera and fondnout who stole from me. Thank you for your assistance
Usually I'm don't usually complain about the police department as you all do amazing work around the city. But this morning had to be the most terrifying thing I've encountered. At about 6:45am I'm getting ready to take my dog out, and whenever I take her out before daylight I'm always aware of my surroundings, as I'm always afraid something is going to happen, and in this city you never know. I open the door to go out and noticed my dog is a little more anxious than usually. An out of the corner of my eye I notice this man in all black coming up from behind my house in my yard, and between my car and the neighbors fence doesn't say one word to me as noted it was dark out. Now at this point being in dark clothing and in my yard, I literally thought I was going to have a panic attack cause i had no idea who it was and hurried my dog back inside. Had literally no idea this dude was a police officer as he didn't say a word to me and on that side of the house you can't see his patrol car. So when I go back in and calm myself down, I look out the window towards the other side of my house and notice his patrol car. I don't mind the police being in my yard for whatever reason but at least they could of done was said something when I walked out. Is this standard for you to be in someones yard and not announce yourself? I dont know cause I'm not a police officer. But it would have been great to know as they literally scared me. Recently, four armed robberies happened among IU students, which caused a great threat to us. But as we noticed that policemen did not take any actions to protect students' safety and send any warning massage to inform students after that. So, we hope BPD could help students protecting our safety dutifully.
I have reported numerous times that there is a black dodge durango permanently parked on the City street in front of this address. It has been there close to two years. I have also reported a ford ranger parked in front of 3141 S Piccadilly that is permanently parked there. Can the police department PLEASE tag them for towing? Isn't City code that they can not be parked there more than 72 hours? Why have a code if it is not enforced?
