For the last couple of weeks there has been an orange traffic barrel with a "Sidewalk Closed" sign on it sitting in the back yard of a student rental house next to our office. I assume it is a city barrel. Our office is at 914 E. Atwater, the first building east of the Subway. The house the barrel is behind is the next house east of us (blue siding, white trim). The easiest way to get to it is through the alley: go up Atwater past the Subway and turn right into the alley just past the grass lot. Turn left into the alley that runs parallel with Atwater. The barrel is in the grass between the parking lot behind our building and the parking area behind the rental house.

Check out uReport #173766 - it looks like it was closed and information was put in as a comment that is unrelated to the actual uReport #173766. Danna Workman commented on 9/21/2020 about someone named Kierra who damaged her car in a parking lot. The uReport was actually about a hole in a sidewalk and there was no report of damage to a car. This needs to be corrected so the hole in the sidewalks can get fixed.

Location of your Problem: 1821 and 1824 E Thornton Drive Details: I live on East Thornton Drive in Beechwood Manor II. I have a copy of the ordinance for our neighborhood (found in plat book 7, page 99). The ordinance states that "Every dwelling shall have a ...driveway... All residents are to park off the street on these drives..." Two of my neighbors regularly park thier cars on the street. House 1821 parks one of their cars on the street, and house 1824 parks 2 cars on the street. This is becoming an issue because snow plows cannot clear snow effectively and the trash trucks need to pull back and forth multiple times to turn around in the cul-de-sac. There is a skunk carcass on the sidewalk just south of 527 S. Washington St. (South of 2nd Street, on the East side of Washington St.) I walked there this morning around 10:00. The skunk had probably been killed on the street within the past 12 hours, and then something had dragged it onto the sidewalk. It would be good if someone could remove the carcass. There is a skunk odor over the neighborhood, and the carcass has been torn apart quite a bit. Thanks very much.

Found a drug needle on the sidewalk on North Madison across from Bloomington foods, on the sidewalk of that photo restoration company or whatever. Also, across the street from there in the bushes where Chase Bank drive-in used to be, there are a ton of clothes and old junk hiding in the bushes that has been there for months.
