Citizen claims that snow plow killed her grass. Says street dept. came out and planted grass seed across the street for a similar problem but did not plant seed in her yard. Wants to know if we plan to do this before winter.
DOESN'T KNOW IF ITS A SINKHOLE OR SPRING, USED A ROOT FINDER AND WENT DOWN 36" BETWEEN SIDEWALK AND DRIVEWAY - HOLLOW UNDERNEATH (WAS CITY DUMP APPROXIMATELY 50 YEARS AGO).
Large limb on sidewalk in the 2000 block of Atwater
Adrian Reid has asked for a few bike loops to be placed in front of the Bikesmith at 112 S College Ave. We have look at the site and talked to the business and there is enough room on the sidewalk in front of the shop for 3 bike loops. We have delivered three loops to traffic. For questions, please contact Roy at Engineering.
Location of your Problem: 1821 and 1824 E Thornton Drive Details: I live on East Thornton Drive in Beechwood Manor II. I have a copy of the ordinance for our neighborhood (found in plat book 7, page 99). The ordinance states that "Every dwelling shall have a ...driveway... All residents are to park off the street on these drives..." Two of my neighbors regularly park thier cars on the street. House 1821 parks one of their cars on the street, and house 1824 parks 2 cars on the street. This is becoming an issue because snow plows cannot clear snow effectively and the trash trucks need to pull back and forth multiple times to turn around in the cul-de-sac. Will someone from the city remind my neighbors that they cannot park in the street? Thank you! Contact Info Name: E Thornton Drive Email: ethorntondr@gmail.com Telephone:
The trees in front of the old Mark Pi are encroaching into the sidewalk.
Insight doesn't answer phones. Written communication is not answered. When phone is anwered here is no solution offered to the problem. Caller states that cable was cut by some gardeners. It was then spliced by Insight, but nevered buried. It is unburied on the grass, the sidewalk, & the driveway. It has been there for more than a month.
