Location of your Problem: 1821 and 1824 E Thornton Drive Details: I live on East Thornton Drive in Beechwood Manor II. I have a copy of the ordinance for our neighborhood (found in plat book 7, page 99). The ordinance states that "Every dwelling shall have a ...driveway... All residents are to park off the street on these drives..." Two of my neighbors regularly park thier cars on the street. House 1821 parks one of their cars on the street, and house 1824 parks 2 cars on the street. This is becoming an issue because snow plows cannot clear snow effectively and the trash trucks need to pull back and forth multiple times to turn around in the cul-de-sac. I did a search on Google and found the nature preserve that has my last name. I lived in Indiana until 1997. Had never known there was a nature preserve in Indiana with my name. Can you tell me who the preserve is named after? It would be interesting to see if I can trace my anscestry to the person the nature preserve is named after.
