A Ford Country Squire Station wagon appears to have been abandoned on the street in front on my house in the 1200 block of South Washington Street. The car has not been moved since July 24th. Since the end of the construction on 17th St, a crosswalk sign along with its pole has been lying on the ground. Several times, because it was an obstacle on the sidepath, I moved it to the side. The crosswalk is over 17th St just east of N Arlington Park Dr. It has curb cuts for a cross walk while it's not painted in the street. The sign should be either put up or taken away.

Restripping of Sixth St. between Walnut and Washington has resulted in the elimination of six parking spaces. Don Porter has advised her that this is due to compliance with the State Ordinance and that Transit had requested easier clearance when turning right off of Walnut onto Sixth. ( see letter)
