Hi,
I tried calling but never heard back about this issue. On June 17th I parked at a meter across from the Bloomington Bagel Company. I had an appointment in the Child Support Courts at 9:45 so I got there about 9:30, put my card in the meter, I thought I put in for an hour and then left just before 10:30. I rarely park downtown and normally use changes so I wasn't exactly sure how the meters worked. I even hit the cancel before I left but it did nothing. When I checked my statement I had been charged 10.00. Is there a way to prove how much time I was there so that I am only charged for the actual time I was there? Again, I tried calling Amy (who I was told handled such issues), but I have yet to hear back.

It appears that here is an obvious over occupancy at the above address. I counted no less 9 cars there on 6-23-24, and there is consistently at least 6 different cars there lined up and down the road, and several adults their on a consistent basis. This is obviously against code and not safe for visibility along that part of the road. I will gladly get photos if needed.

Please inspect the tree behind the New Hope dumpster that is on Park District strip of land. The tree is severally leaning and resting against another. It might be compromised due to last weeks storm. It might have been responsible for a smashed car windshield. If not there is some dead branches that are a risk to the New Hope staff and client parking on the North side of the property.

Are trains allowed to travel thru city neighborhoods overnight? Multiple times trains have made round trips between 1 & 4 am on the industrial tracks from 84th to Old Shakopee thru Hyland neighborhoods

Since it has opened, the new record store around the corner from Amrit India has featured live music performances of drums and amplified electric guitar music on Friday and Saturday nights on the sidewalk sometimes lasting past midnight. For residential units along Walnut and on 6th Street, the sound is an intrusion that prevents peaceable enjoyment of one's one private premises. Specifically, I can't sleep. It's not just unneighborly, it's a violation of Bloomington's noise ordinance. Perhaps the after hours ambassador or night mayor, or whatever the person is called now, can chat with the owners and suggest some other strategy for attracting customers. Thanks.
