Tents are popping up again in Seminary Park and the adjacent open spaces. I cannot believe these are for "Garage sales, religious tent meetings, nonprofit events and political rallies" (City Code), so I hope they will soon be removed.

1807 E. Wexley Road. Daily and nightly barking of two dogs left in fenced in back yard (whether owners are home or not.) Police and humane society visits approx a year ago. (Owners saw police/humane society car/person/officer and brought in dogs swiftly.) No changes ever since then. No peace in the neighborhood. Have also written owners polite requests with no change. I gave up but must try again as my home is not restful at all with the incessant barking.

Who is responsible for the maintenance of City installed lampposts in neighborhoods? The city or our HOA?

It has come to my attention that Indiana University is still in the year of 2022 burning coal to generate steam for heating, cooling, and processes, such as cooking or for research uses. As of 2019, the university stated on their website that they were burning 60,000 tons of coal each year, but currently there is no mention on the Facility Operation's website of coal. A quick phone call confirmed they are still burning coal but they declined to share how much they are burning. The residents of Bloomington and the surrounding areas, as well as those who work in Bloomington, are being exposed to that dirty, toxic pollution. Are there any plans to address that source of pollution being generated within the city limits of Bloomington? In the Climate Action Plan there is mention of Duke Energy's lingering archaic dependence on coal, but no mention of what IU is doing. So what is the plan?
Thank you.

Bright lights over the garage are not shaded or pitched downward, go on at dusk and stay on all night, shining in windows and are a nuisance.

Front yard of 704 W Dodds has been covered with large sheets of black plastic for 1.5 years. That is long enough to kill what was under it and come back with new landscaping or whatever he is trying to do. Please make him respect his neighbors and remove the plastic sheeting.

Hi, I am a tenant at Cambridge Square Bloomington, IN. The address is 301 N. Pete Ellis Dr., Bloomington, IN 47408. On February 6, around 3:00 AM ~ 4:00AM, someone took my clothes while I was doing laundry. Last night, March 16, 2013, I left my shoes outside of the apartment door. I recalled this around 4:00AM. The shoes outside have been already taken. I believe that the woman Diane Scales in the building took my stuff. Please assist to have my clothes and shoes back.
Thanks.
Y. Wang

Hi, the street tree (Ash) in front of 3111 S Mulberry Lane (Northwest of the driveway) has many low hanging branches that especially when the leaves come back in the spring, which bring the branches even lower, they interfere with pedestrian passing on the side walk or delivery trucks/SUVs passing on the street, potentially also interfere with SUVs driving into/out of the driveway. Can you send a crew to prune the low hanging branches off so that it is safer for trucks/pedestrians to pass? As a preventative measure before the leaves come back in the spring which will bring the branches even lower.
From the treekeepersoftware.com, I found the site ID is 36727
Thanks!

Queer folk are under heavy attack right now. I didn't know if the City might be able to host a drag brunch or otherwise do something to push back a bit as a town that cares but it would be awesome if so.
