Kinser Flats 1610 north Kinser Pike residents are trespassing on 441 West Gourley Pike. Leaving trash, needles, excrement' clothes. When asked to leave, they often get combative. It is not even safe to walk outside D/T needles, human waste and belligerent people. They have also done damage to the building. they have attempted to break in, cracking windows and tearing apart air conditioner units.
There is a round about on Summit Street and Cottage Grove. The roundabout is completely overgrown and is also covering up the drainage system. It's so high that when kids are riding their bikes and cars are coming around the corner, they almost get hit. It needs to be cut.
At the corner of Kirkwood Ave and South Walnut, there is a transient woman sleeping. Not particularly obstructing anything but didn't want someone to get hurt.
sewer pipe has pvc pipe drilled right thru it. First thought it was comcast, they investigated and found Hoosier Fiber networks laid the PVC. My sewer line keeps backing up and the camera exposed the issue. I need assistance getting this resolved!
I am secretary of our HOA and this is a question about what is being done in our neighborhood--Cedar Springs Subdivision. Over the past couple of weeks we have had several services marking utilities and today stakes were set to mark the right of way. In 2019/2020, the Rogers Multiuse Path Project removed a large area of mature evergreen trees and shrubs. Before the project began, the city convened a public meeting at Sherwood Oaks church, where this project was presented. Neighborhood residents were under the impression (from what was stated at the meeting) that despite the construction and removal of mature trees and shrubs there was a plan to replace the mature trees and provide appropriate barriers to shield adjacent residences from Rogers Rd. Given that one of the adjacent neighborhoods is named “The Woodlands” it is ironic that the large swath of mature trees and shrubs was removed by the city. In 2020, the neighborhood inquired about the promised tree replacement plan and advocated in support of the tree replacement plan via email exchanges with a city employee. I wanted to let someone be aware that while driving home yesterday (9/8/25) around 3:20pm, there was a city vehicle pulling onto 69 south from 46. This driver was flying - once he passed me he kept flying. I was speeding myself at 80mph(in my personal vehicle) and i couldn't keep up. He got behind a semi in the middle lane and i took the left lane to pass. Not only was he going 80 he was also talking on his hand held phone. He eventually passed me again and kept going onto 37 south past the light at Victor Pike. He was in car #503. I could care less if he was in his personal vehicle but he was in a city vehicle, what a horrible way to represent this city! I couldn't have been more disappointed in our city knowing we have employees like that. I would hope someone is able to address this employee regarding his driving in a city vehicle. thanks!
