We have people living in tents on CITY property on the southwest corner of Rogers and 11th St. We have over 10 female employees working for us at 611 W 11th Street. We would hate for any of them to have ANY issues with people living on CITY property. Please help these people to relocate to a place where they may receive the services Bloomington may provide. Unprofessional demolition occurring. Dust and particles (asbestos?) flying everywhere. Once the City/County have given permission to demolish, is there an office that oversees the activity? Who checks for all the lead paint flakes that are released? The crew who did this looked Mennonite/Amish, but they might not be because they were using industrial equipment - and making a huge mess.
I am reaching out to file a noise complaint about the address provided. They frequently have parties late into the evenings and blast music so loud it shakes windows of homes nearby. There are several families that live in this area too and it keeps everyone awake. We would all appreciate this being taken care of
In 2024, the City of Bloomington planted native species along the west side of the B-Line trail adjacent to the 300 & 400 block of Mortons St. After a year of growth the portion next to the B-Line trail looks fine; however the “back side” of this planted area that is on the east side of Morton St is heavily overgrown, encroaching 3 to 4 feet into Morton St, obstructing traffic, pedestrians and bikers on Morton St. this is becoming a safety issue due to the narrowing of the street die to overgrown, and un-kempt planting of native plants along the B-Line trail. Requesting that the City of Bloomington groom the back side of this native planting, along Mortton St as to not obstruct the normal use of Morton shared by pedestrians, bikes and traffic.
This is a safety issue. Small gray sports car is parked too close to the intersection on the west side of Eastside Drive, blocking visibility and turning safety.
Noise complaint. Upstairs neighbors are blasting music and partying so loud that I can hear it to and can barely sleep.
The bushes and weeds have grown up so much that the street light is completely blocked. Please have the bushes removed before winter. Thank you.
Used care repair business still going on. Cars being delivered and picked up on a regular basis, several mechanics working on cars until late at night, continues. Apparently this has been an issue that the city keeps “resolving” but nothing is changing. What is going on? why is this being allowed to continue for years. From the records, this house has had several complaints that the city resolves but remains unchanged. This individual used the street and parking spaces for his own private used care business. Property Taxes are way too high for this to be happening. The person in charge of these complaints is not doing his/her job at all.
Enormous tree with predominantly dead limbs is a hazard to those of us walking past on a regular basis. The owner needs to remove this ongoing threat.
The area on the north side of Sudbury Drive, between the last Millenium driveway and Arbor Ridge Way is not being maintained, mowed, etc. by the Millemium Apartment Management. I complained to Kenny Liford in the summer of 2024. He told me he gave them a warning and that they would be fined if they did not comply. To date, they have never mowed that area since that complaint. They used to maintain it until the past 2-3 years. According to the INDOT, this area is within the city limits. The area not being maintained is along the tree conservancy, which is owned by Millenium but governed by the city.
