There are homeless people living in sheds behind this house. They have numerous dogs and one of them attacked a man in the backyard a couple of days ago. These dogs are always off-leash and also come into other neighbors' yards agressively. We need the city to deal with this situation

The abandoned building behind the Storage Facility I manage is home to many homeless around Bloomington. They are leaving trash all over the ground as well as throwing things into the back side of the property. I myself do not feel safe enough to go back there to clean this up and there are people living out of campers back there and sleeping on the ground. This is causing issues with debris and trash being tossed onto our property causing an unsafe environment. I can not properly clean this area safely and would like the owners if this building to clean up the area from trash and debris.

The HOA at Wilmington Court is in need of reinstalling new wood timbers borders along the front of this building. We are not able to fit a timber along the front of this area because it appears this water meter cap has slid down almost to the sidewalk. The identical one on the other side of this entrance is quite a bit further up in the bed.
Can we please have it looked at? Thank you! Abby Seifers, Wilmington Ct HOA Board Member

#206651 was closed by Rob Council with this note: "Addressed issue with property owner. Will follow up."
What does this mean--that Rob will follow up or that the Homeowner will follow up? It has been 30 days since I mailed the owner a certified letter and 19 days since I filed a nuisance complaint. The "resolution" of the report tells me nothing. Did the owner say that he would remove the dead parts of the tree? Does the city agree that it is dangerous? I am no less worried today than I was 4 weeks ago, but the case is closed.

I had called the sanitation dept phone number this morning as our yard waste can wasn't collected this week. After listening the to the message about yard waste on the phone automated machine I realized I wasn't sure if pumpkins were collected or if I was over weight on the re usable can. I called to connect to a representative and I regret I didn't get the gentleman's name at aprox 0755 am on 4 dec. He was extremely helpful and I was looking for a place to leave a compliment for dept employees. I don't want to say the bar is low because it devalues my intent but I really appreciate the person answered the phone promptly, inquired into my problem, and immediately offered a solution all while being polite and professional. I wanted to say thanks and thank the employee for their civil service. I'd prefer this not be part of public record or anonymized if used as such. I live across from Rosehill and walked into town today. Many of my neighbors had not yet shoveled their walks, making me walk in the street, which is never a great idea. The worse address was 516 W 3rd, but there were many bad sports between my house and downtown (and some bad spots downtown). It’s been more than 24 hours since the snow stopped. Please remind people about the snow removal ordinance, and please do a much better job of enforcing it. Thank you.
