During the fall of 2020, annual maintenance of the electric wires on the right side of the street (heading south) was done. I don’t know if it’s the city, Duke Energy, or a company who performs this task but today I am writing to complain about the results of the work. It affects the following locations * Beginning at 1816 S High heading south through 2011 S High * And again beginning at 2020 S High heading south through 2021 S High As an avid gardener, it is painful to look at the way the trees are trimmed in the first place. This is the most egregious offense. And just as important, the trees and limbs that were removed are randomly thrown on the ground and it is a visual eyesore. When I look at this I wonder why all the trees aren’t just removed from both stretches on South High? Who is responsible for this mess and what can be done about it? It is shoddy work and our town of Bloomington shouldn’t allow for it.

These heaps of gravel can be found on E. Second, going towards the wooden foot bridge. I have no idea where they come from. However, next time there is a good downpour they will most likely be washed down the hill to the drain at the intersection of Eastside and the church parking lot, causing the intersection to flood. I filed a Ureport months ago, and the problem was partially fixed. The high-intensity white flashing lights on top of the building are no longer on when I sleep. The jumbo screen is still on though throughout the night. I have gone to the VERVE twelve times about this jumbo screen flashing into my room when I try to sleep. They always tell me the settings have it where it is suppose to turn off at 9:30 PM, when the rooftop closes. I remind them that the settings aren't doing as they say, and they tell me they will fix it. Management says they use an app to adjust the hours of the jumbo screen, so I cannot comprehend why they still cannot fix the time setting considering how user friendly and simple the app is. I have lived at State Bloomington (next to the VERVE) for two years. The VERVE was done being built in August, and since then I have lost tremendous amounts of sleep over their rooftop lights. If a Bloomington official could please end this problem permanently I would be incredibly grateful. I cannot keep losing sleep over this because it is messing my mental health up and making me tired every day.

There is an extremely bright blinking light on top of the building that bothers my eyes when I try to sleep every night. I live in the apartment complex next door. They will not turn it off. I am losing sleep over this. If it is for "safety" reasons, at least keep the light on but without the blinking. There is another bright light on the building too that does not blink, so I don't understand why it is necessary for this one to blink. The blinking of it is what bothers my eyes. There is also a jumbo screen that is super bright that should be turned off when the rooftop closes, yet they keep that on all night too. The jumbo screen isn't the main issue though, it's the bright blinking light. Please please if you can make the blinking stop I would appreciate it.

wanted to know what can be done about people around maxwell house parking in the street. the street parking makes it very difficult for the buses and vans to manuever in and around the driveway.
