Please continue to ticket cars that do not have the neighborhood parking permit. There are consistently three cars parked in this area without a permit and forth in the carport. I suspect over occupancy.
Starting on August 20th, I begin a lease living at 517 E 14th St. Bloomington, IN 47408. I applied for a neighborhood parking pass and was denied because my address is not qualified to receive a permit. I called and they said this is because I live in an apartment complex that offers parking to it's tenants. This isn't true however, because we are only given parking for 2 out of our 5 residents. I've spoken to our leasing company and they suggested I reach out because we should be allowed to obtain permits sense we live in the zone and don't have parking. Please reach out to me as soon as possible for what we can do.
I submitted my information for my zone 1 Greek life parking permit and received it. However whoever wrote my license plate number on the pass used a wrong letter, making the pass not match my actual license plate. Is this something that needs to be fixed, or is it okay to leave as is? Please respond as soon as possible.
Hi, we have been ticketed twice for parking in front of our home. However, we've only been doing this to prevent the neighbors from parking in front of our house. They don't have the proper permit zone, and it's disruptive to have strangers parking at our house every day. They never get ticketed because they park after 5pm. Is there any way to resolve this issue? Thank you.

Hi there, I live in an apartment complex in Elm Heights and have a question regarding the street parking on south side of 2nd street between Henderson and Fess where the Elm Heights Bloomingfoods used to be. Currently, the signs state that the parking is 2 hours, which made sense when the building was in use. However, neighborhood parking on the surrounding streets is pretty tight during the majority of weekdays when IU is in session. Unfortunately, there have been times when I have had to make use of these 2 hour spots due to the lack of availability of street parking near my dwelling and have been subsequently ticketed. Is there any specific reason why these spots are still being enforced with a 2 hour limit even though Bloomingfoods went out of business? Is there any way the 2 hour limit could be removed for those that display a neighborhood zone permits until a new tenant is found for the building? I understand that I am responsible for the fees incurred by my violation for this current 2 hour policy, but fail to understand why it is being maintained so aggressively given the fact that the reason for implementing the 2 hour street parking (accessibility for Bloomingfoods customers) is no longer valid. I was paying to have a pass at the parking garage above Scottys and had to move away from work. I had a charge I did not recognize on my account and had Chase look into it, it was the parking pass. 3-4 months before I left my pass stopped working, I called and they said the payment terms changed and that my account was deactivated. Is there a way to get the charges to stop, my only other option with chase is to cancel the card. I would appreciate any help you can offer!
There have been an unreasonable amount of cars without permits during the week that park all around my house, which is near 8th and park ave, and there have been numerous occasions where I cannot even find a place to park at all. But then I'll go down the street and look and I notice, 2/3 of the cars don't have permits. I realize I live near campus buildings which draws people to want to park close to classes, but I believe that if tickets start being given, especially for repeat offenders, then this issue will be solved. Where is our Parking Enforcement Officer? Day in, day out there are still cars parked on the street in the 600 and 700 block of S Eastside Drive, that seem not to have a valid residential neighborhood parking permit or visitor tag displayed: the white Volvo, the grey Toyota Sienna and the red Ford truck (which should not be parked on the street anyway because it is too long).
