The two parking meters on the corner of 6th and Dunn are blacked out and you can't see them at night.
I inserted my card and the meter only issues one hour increments. I am downtown for a meeting and I need more time uninterrupted. In front of Buskirk-Chumley.
A vehicle has been incorrectly parked in a handicap spot for days. There is no indication that the vehicle is in need of a handicap spot, and has not move for some time. This is taking away access to other residents.
Saturday 7/26 Pili's Party Taco was parked in an ADA meter DUNN100-ADA from roughly 8:30-10pm. This space is also in violation of the Mobile Food Truck Vendor permit.
Just tried to feed this meter. My money is stuck in the slot but wouldn't fall into the meter so I got no time on the meter. I am parked there now. White Prius. License number is IU plate "LOCAL"
This car has been parked in the same spot for at least 3 months maybe longer. It is blocking the street department from picking up leaves, is hindering trash trucks. The tires are going flat from not being moved. It needs removed from the street
Customer reported that parking meter 5THE108-B was not accepting more than 1 hour of payment as of appr. 4pm on 8/24 - i.e. "up arrow" did not work.
This morning, a bus was dropping off children at the Buskirk-Chumley for a student matinee. The bus swung out too hard and ended up hitting and denting the parking meter on Kirkwood closest to the corner of Kirkwood and Washington on the block that has the Buskirk-Chumley Theater.
I paid a fine. I was just recently put on massive prednisone because of allergies and high doses cause cognitive issues. Hence I forgot to pay the meter. The prednisone is to keep me from strangling to death. I’ll make sure to stay away from downtown and all businesses from now on. Amazon is the safer option for people with disabilities.
