Is it possible to add some additional picnic tables at Schmalz Farm Park Shelter? There is currently only 1 picnic table.
I was walking the trail with my kids and a large scary homeless man started hurling insults and curse words at me or someone close to me. I’ve seen him do this multiple times and he is making impossible and even dangerous for people to visit Cascades.
The electrical outlets at the large shelter do not work. Trying to reset the breakers in the box also did not restore the electricity to the two outlets.
People without homes are setting up to camp at the small shelter. This is not the place.
Will the pickleball courts be resurfaced and more courts added this summer as rumor has it?
Please put a trash can and a sharps container in the porter potty at Winslow/Willie Streeter. Lots of people through trash into the porter pottie. I think this would help the problem. Thank you very much.
Reverend Butler power outlet in shelter looks dangerous and Broken
Go Express busses are driving recklessly through the Sportsplex parking lot. I was dropping my daughter off for her program yesterday at 6:00pm. A bus nearly ran over the front of my car as it was turning to go toward the side parking lot. I was stopped with my window down and told the driver that she should slow down. She stated that I was in her blind spot. Then she continued to drive forward and I had to quickly back up to give her room to turn while trying to avoid hitting the car behind me. After walking my daughter into the building, another bus went by and was also driving too fast for being in a parking lot. Why are these buses cutting through the lot? They can enter at the stoplight closer to Weimer Road if needed and avoid putting parks and rec patrons in danger.
Divider in the middle of walkway impedes access to Bryan Park Pool. A painted line instead could solve this problem.
