We want to advocate for our local artisans and their unfair percentage fee for participating in the market. We love Muddy Fork Bakery and several other local food and drink artisans and would love to have them included in the City Market, but think it is unfair that they are slapped with such a high fee just to participate. I believe that if the market is open to more vendors, it will thrive and be even more popular with customers. I hope you will consider a change to the rule so that the market can help build a diverse local economy that benefits the business owners, employees, and consumers.

Please do away with the percent fee system for food and beverage vendors at the farmers market. It's not fair for them to have a different rate than the farmers and they bring lots of customers to the market, in addition to adding a large variety of food choices.

I love the farmers market. Can you please stop charging so much for people to sell in the market? The city should support local vendor not ruin them. Such a shame. Stop charging so much to people selling food! We only have ONE local bakery shop that sells sourdough.

Look at the policies that have driven Btown from a town of interest to a handful of publicly interesting locations with decades of presence.
Food vendors would better benefit the community through collaboration with sustainable government policies;
rather than finding it beneficial to connect their resources to affordable public commercially available resources to afford their work.

I am very disappointed with the staff this year at the Bannikervday camp. My children went to summer camp and my older grandchildren went. They always had caring and appropriate staff. This year two of my grandchildren who have gone previously don't like it and at times don't want to go. They say some of the staff are rude. I have been there and as an educator I was not impressed
There were four staff sitting together and not interacting with the children. I hope next year you will have better staff or my grandchildren will not attend.
I have spoken to others who have children or grandchildren there and they have said the same thing. This looks poorly on our lack of commitment to our children and we want better.
PS. Ms. Pauline was the best person there for years.

Hi, with seasonal lighting on the square, this tree on the SW corner of Kirkwood and Walnut has broken branches tangled up with the wire from the lights. Its all over the tree, not just the one seen dangling in the photo. I assume this is a city tree and not CFC. It seems hazardous and will be unsightly when lit up. Thank you, Brad

Please adjust the rates at the market for artisan vendors, bringing the numbers into conformity with other markets in the Midwest.

The spring 2024 program guide has a dearth of diverse representation in the local photos. Check out the populations pictured - especially the largest/most prominent photos on the cover, p 15, p 24, p 28. Nearly all white people under 35. On a couple of other pages, people of color and older people are tiniest images. It would also be great to have images of people with disabilities in active settings, especially to highlight the inclusive recreation program.

Tried to register online but was unable to "search" for event to register. I kept getting the same page--search. I will register by mail but thought you should know. (A family member at a different address had a similar problem.) Thank you and Happy New Year
