Case #179848 is marked closed and labeled as resolved though it never was. Problem is still a problem and has been since originally reported. People traveling east bound are forced to use wrong side of trail if they don't want muddy shoes, slip or fall as they walk or run. Also, people on bikes or using strollers traveling east bound use wrong side of trail because of risks due to poor maintenance. Then, those traveling west bound, walking running or riding have routinely been forced off trail towards Moores Pike (very narrow grassy seperation there) or have a head on collision with those using wrong side of trail. Please remove silt, mud, gravel, etc. Please dig out a channel so it can drain properly in the future. Thank you.

B-line trail lights 83, 79, 22 and 12 are either off or very weak. I observed these around Oct. 1, 2022. My notes also say J223 is off but I can't recall where that is (could be typo in my notes). Thanks much.

Bloomington resident Sam Melchior (dsamuelm375@gmail.com) contacted me through an email message the following concern: " I would still appreciate a further response as the scooter and ebike problem continues to worsen. I have added ebikes due to the increased use of them on the Bloomington Rail Trail and the increased size and speed of these vehicles. You have paved the path to the waterfall at Cascades to make it more accessible, which is great! But then you blocked off the parking lot right near there so I have to park farther away. Even parking with my handicap tag in the small lot by the playground adds a significant distance between my car and the waterfall. It is difficult for me to walk this extra distance. Please re-think this plan!

The road/trail crossing at Moravec is dangerous due to bikes crossing at high-speed without regard to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The bushes on southwest corner of this crossing also impeded visibility of bikes crossing at high speed. The trail should have speed limit signs for bikes/e-bikes and yellow yield signs.

Observed a drum (as in musical) situation in the creek just south of the Switchyard skate park. Can see the drum from the newer path/metal overlook bridge.

Sometime last weekend someone threw the cones that are on the High Street sidepath, where the guy wires for the telephone pole extend into the path, over the fence. A couple of them have been retrieved, but others are on private property. The cones need to be set back up. Better yet, the guy wire situation should be taken care of.

Guest came into WonderLab having found sharps on the trail near the janeway statue. There are piles of abandoned belongings around the side entrance to our WonderGarden on the trail. This is a safety issue for our guests and staff.

Lamp post 134 on B-Line Trail appears to be out. This is a high-priority public safety issue as there have been assaults on this part of the trail recently.
