The trail downhill from the parking lot to the tennis courts is no longer useable by wheelchairs
deep sand and gravel collects on trail due to elevated soil and grass blocking proper draining. The worst area is on trail corner adjacent to Moores Pike and culvert underneath. The area becomes problematic for wheelchairs and strollers when muddy. risky for kids on bikes and scooters. thanks
trail from parking lot near shelter to the tennis courts is not ADA compliant and hasn't been compliant for years. Rest of trail has lots of bumps and surface issues.
Entire trail system needs care. from Sherwood oaks park to trail around football field. Very overgrown, unsafe paved surface due to roots and thin pavement.
Sometime last weekend someone threw the cones that are on the High Street sidepath, where the guy wires for the telephone pole extend into the path, over the fence. A couple of them have been retrieved, but others are on private property. The cones need to be set back up. Better yet, the guy wire situation should be taken care of.
There are a couple folks sleeping in the pavilion area and one tent erected on the nature trail. Have seen them the past few days taking my dog for a walk. Not sure if these are folks experiencing homelessness but figured city should be aware.
On the outer loop of the trail (at the bottom of the hill if you enter left where the pavillion is) there's a tent that I believe someone is living in. Was hoping to guide this individual to the Homelessness Resources department if possible. Thanks
I live right next to Bryan Park and walk my dogs there daily. Lately, there has been a noticeable increase in the amount of pet waste left uncollected by other dog owners. The middle path through the park is particularly bad. You can hardly go 10-15ft along the path without encountering a pile. I have stepped in several while moving out of the way for cyclists. I don’t have a good solution on how to fix this, people just aren’t picking up after their dogs and it’s becoming an issue.
My husband and I were at the trail head parking lot and saw a woman go into the woods along the creek and then came out of the woods carrying a trap. Is this allowed? If so you should post signs warning people. A child or dog could easily slip into the woods and get injured.
Hello, There's a tree down here at clear creek trail. Thanks, Brandon
