Dear idiots.
Why would you put a trails stop light across busy busy South Walnut Street?!! All of that waste of money spent on Switchyard Park ( my favorite waste of tax payer money by the way) and you can't afford a bridge across South Walnut Street?!! THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!!

The Polly Grimshaw Trail is in dire need of bush and tree trimming. The east bound "lane" is overgrown and in many places only two or three feet of the west bound "lane" is usable so that two bicycles would not be able to pass at the same time without one of them leaving the trail. A particular hazard is just east of the Pete Ellis crossing where a recently broken branch of a locust tree (the kind with thorns) is covering most of the trail. A thorn could easily puncture a bicycle tire.
I realize that Parks and Recreation has always denied having jurisdiction over this trail. But this was the only link I found to report this. Please pass this request on to which ever department would be able to handle it. Thanks so much!

Sign for Lanham Trailhead of GNP has been torn down. There is a pink survey stake so perhaps this is already known?
