This photo was taken to exaggerate the issue just a bit by the perspective, but this is an issue. The parking lot on Country Club at the B-Line Trail is getting gnarly with bushes. Is it possible to trip this back?
I've recently noticed the Rail Trail between Country Club Drive and Gordon Pike has sections of large gravel (see attached photo). I appreciate that maintenance is being done, assuming the City is responsible for this work. But, I am concerned because this large gravel is inconsistent with the existing surface for the trail. As a bike commuter and runner on this section of the trail, I was disappointed to see large gravel appear on the surface. The Rail Trail is a great surface to run and walk on and commute on. These patches of large gravel pieces diminish it's utility and enjoyment. Are there plans to use large gravel more often on the trail? I request that the smaller, packed surface be maintained. The lights from 6th to 8th Street, on the B-Line, have been out since this weekend. Those are #104-112. Thought it might have been a fuse or something, but since it's been this long, wonder if anyone knows. Thanks.
Someone busted a bunch of bottles along part of the trails on the bluffs on the south side of Lake Griffy nad left the broken glass all over. I've circled the area on this map where it can be found.
The nature trail at Winslow Park now has many more paths than indicated by your online map, so many that Parks and Rec needs to mark the main trails to distinguish them from many, many spurs.
Just south of the intersection of Rogers and Coolidge the multi-use path on the west side of Rogers is heavily impeded by overgrowth of a tree. This is dangerous. As part of the B-Line detour, this needs to be trimmed back.

The Clear Creek Trail is under attack by the local flora! Yes, that's right - the vegetation is taking over. The entire route of the trail, from Tapp Road to Church Lane, needs to be seriously trimmed back. The trees and brush are overtaking the trail. There are hazards from both a vertical and horizontal line of attack. In places the trail is narrowed by the overgrowth crowding out the trail. In other places, there are branches hanging down low that can take a rider off a bike. The entire length of the trail needs some trim work to cut back the overgrowth and low hanging branches and restore the trail to its full width. The trail would be much safer with this work completed.

That's how many vertical and/or horizontal obstructions I counted on the Clear Creek Trail from the Tapp Road trailhead to the Church Lane bridge. 52 points where tree limbs or overgrown bushes are in the way. Cyclists have to duck. Pedestrians have to weave. It's dangerous and makes sharing the trail tough. 52. Maybe you count differently. Even if it's half or a quarter, that's still 26 or 13 hazards. That's dangerous. This trail needs cleaned up to allow unfettered access and enjoyment.
This the foot bridge over the stream at the North end of the clear creek trail. This is on the east end of the bridge. The piece of metal my kid is pointing at should be over the big crack at her feet.
