Residents of 712 W 6th Street have left a sofa, a mattress, and miscellaneous items street side, with sheets of paper indicating that items are "free". They have been outside for over a week, sometimes block the sidewalk, and are accumulating mold and filth. Furthermore, paper stating that the items are free are NOT attached, and essentially litter the sidewalk. The items need to be disposed of properly, and it is my inclination that leaving them for "free" is an attempt around purchasing trash stickers.

Trash and recycling containers left out on the curb for over one week in the 500 block of S Highland Ave on the south side of the street.
