The person named Joe came out to three or four Hopewell answering I complain about car engines and transmissions and junk along habitat street on city property. Hello, We have reached out before but nothing’s big has been done. Opposite our house is a vacant lot which has a city meter on it. Trash including diapers and an old armchair have been dumped there. It’s been slowly rotting for years. It’s an eye sore and also encourages more dumping in this area. It’s at the corner of w. 12th and N. Oolitic dr.

The property at 1000 E Atwater Ave (currently operating as an illegally zoned fraternity) is also apparently being used as a public urinal. I have seen three separate individuals urinating on the wall of the house that faces our driveway. As tax paying home owners, we would prefer. to see this (or to deal with associated health hazards). Is this not a ticketable offense - public intoxication and/or indecency? Please take action. On behalf of the entire neighborhood of Elm heights, please take action. Thank you.

For the entire 12 years we have lived next door to our neighbor, Roger Reading, 2403 N. Browncliff Ln., he has left piles of trash and inoperable cars on his property. We have asked him many times to clean it up, and he occasionally has complied, only to resume using his driveway and surrounding area as his open trash can and junkyard. He fills the unused cars with trash, throws trash on the ground (sometimes right next to trash and recycling bins), animals get into it and spread it around, etc. The current tally of neglected cars is 6--one in his open garage, surrounded by garbage, and five in his driveway (part of which we share as easement to Browncliff). I was once also in his home as per his invitation to help him locate a waterline break. It is also filled with trash and is in a state of utter disrepair. The one photo you allow me to attach does not come close to doing justice to the extent of this mess. We are tired of allowing him to affect our sanitation and property values.
