There is trash blowing in the street and up and down the road. There is overflowing trash on the curb at this location. Looks like animals have ripped open bags.

Trash heap, open bags spilling over sidewalk and onto street. Unacceptable. On Washington street sidewalk. Residents need to be aware of their responsibilities and cleanup essential for a safe and civil city. Please help. A visit from city official usually solves the problem and prevents future issues. On more than one occasion on a Wednesday morning, there has been a COB garbage truck coming through Sherwood Oaks neighborhood at a high rate of speed. I have witnessed this at least twice. The second time was this morning (9/28/22), at approximately 6:45am. The truck was travelling down Bainbridge from Allendale, and turned left onto Elliston Dr. At the 4 way stop at Bainbridge & Elliston, the driver barely slowed down & completely disregarded the stop sign. Then the driver went down Elliston speeding, presumably down to the park to get the trash there. I witnessed the truck coming back up Elliston a few minutes later, still driving too fast, and disregarding the stop sign again. I know it's early, but kids are picked up at the bus stop at that 4 way stop just a few minutes after 7am, and throughout the neighborhood. We also have a lot of people out exercising in the mornings, & there are no sidewalks on Elliston. Please address this with your staff, but feel free to contact me if you have questions or need clarification. We love our neighborhood & want to keep it safe for everyone.

If you are going to close a street down, I would recommend cleaning the sidewalks off and locking trash cans so people will not di through them and throw trash on the ground.

1. The backyard is littered with mountains of junk and trash and causing mosquitos to proliferate. 2. Engines and car parts are leaking oil into the soil. HAND went there before but the owners covered all their trash with a tarp to hide it. They have a lot of toxic material on this property. 3. A man and woman who were just convicted of methamphetamine moved their RV right next to my house and are leaving trash and junk everywhere. Can someone ask them to move this?
