Hello sanitation team, I first want to thank you all for installing a trash enclosure outside our building to help with the trash flow. I wanted to ask if at all possible if we can get a lid on the regular trash side that is the same size as the recycling side as our plastic platter fit in that hole and we has seen a significant amount of loss in this item due to our outdoor seating. Please let me know if we can do this it would be amazing to take care of. thank you.

This has been going on for weeks now. Our trash has not been picked up for 2 weeks IN A ROW. We have called sanitation and the city multiple times now about this issue. Going 2 weeks without pickup, we’re going to have a lot of garbage. After about 3 weeks of not receiving trash pickup, they proceed to STILL not take any of our trash. This is getting really ridiculous and to add on top of it, they give us a warning FOR THEIR ISSUE. Why don’t they do their job and find our trash bins every week that we have on the curb instead of just driving by them each week. This issue needs to be fixed asap.

This morning when I went out to gather up my carts I noticed that the bar that goes across the middle of the front of my small trash cart was only in one hole. The bar fell completely off completely as I pulled the cart up the driveway. I assume that bar is essential for emptying the cart. Do you have any advice about how I can get the bar to fit back in both holes? At the moment it’s in one hole and angled up at about a 30 degree angle, which doesn’t seem very useful. Just out of curiosity, what is the expected life-span of the carts? They are already starting to look beat up. My recycling cart has a piece missing on the corner of the lid. The trash or recycling truck drove through the median area in the middle of the cul de sac in between 500 and 501 South Arbutus Drive. This left deep tire ruts in the grass. City trash and recycling truck drivers normally back down our street since the trucks are too large to navigate the turn-around. The driver today may have been unfamiliar with this practice.

The city's garbage and recycling trucks are tearing up the circular median between 500 and 501 South Arbutus because they are too large to turn around in the cul-de-sac. I have reported this issue several times. I can arrange with the other residents of our street to put all of our garbage and recycling bins on either the east or west side of the street (whichever is preferred by the truck drivers) to make this easier so that they can back in or back out of the street rather than trying to turn around. Please let me know if you would like for us to do this.

No one picked up our trash today at 4031 E Bennington Blvd. It was placed out at 10 Tuesday night. Should we leave it out or wait till next week. Recycling was picked up.
