The garage belonging to 522 W. 4th Street--the garage that sits along Jackson St., has had mattresses/box springs piled against it for at least 6 weeks. There is also a pile of loose trash behind the garage that's been there for the same amount of time. That mess is an eyesore!!!

See case #188527. Garbage still piled up against house. Tenants do not seem to care about warnings or small fines. Can the fines be associated with their water bill so that it gets turned off if they do not pay?

The occupants of this house stand in the doorway smoking cigarettes and when they are done they throw them into the street. I have seen this many times and they take no caution about any pedestrians who are walking on a sidewalk right into the path of a flying lit cigarette. I do not feel comfortable approaching these people. Thank you for checking on this ongoing littering problem.

This time I have included a photo. This is how the sidewalk and gutter has been since I moved here a year ago. Disgusting. Note the cigarettes on the sidewalk as those are the ones thrown from the door with complete disregard for people walking in the public right of way.
Previous Ureport is #175706.
