Junk car disabled on Habitat Street. Hoarding of metal and useless junk, clothing strewn about along with open storage containers and items not for out door use between houses. How can the city let this kind of pollution go on for years ? So disgusting and disrespectful. John Hamilton should be ashamed for not doing something about the weak codes concerning this issue which is all too common in this town.The mayor himself said he would “look” into it years ago. There has been no change.

An anonymous complainant alerted the Solid Waste District about "illegal dumping" of ash wood, as well as concrete and trash at this location. We did a quick inspection and found wood and other materials piled on the ground at the property. Additionally there is a trailer that appears to contain household waste, and there is trash around one of the buildings (on Allen Street side). A few weeks back I had an issue with my trash can not being emptied. I was contacted and told that it was a "new trainee" problem. Well, today's trash was not emptied fully again, so more training is clearly required. We have 3 extra people living here because of the pandemic, so I can't store trash that the city won't collect.
