There garbage on sidewalks
The alley behind the auto dealership has misplaced trash and someone's recycle bin next to the garage there. This is the alley that goes north south between Washington and Walnut.
Trash out of can, overflowing cans, garbage on sidewalk, trash blowing around area, blocked sidewalk.
Trash not collected this morning. Placed on curb last night. Recycle collected.
There are homeless encampments steadily increasing in number behind my house and those of my neighbors. There are now several in view of my windows. The amount of trash is staggering, including countless hypodermic needles. Trash is regularly set on fire by the residents of the encampments, producing noxious smoke that smells terrible and is surely not safe to breathe. The city needs to do something about these encampments. Open air drug use within feet of neighborhoods with young children should not be tolerated. I've been a resident of Bloomington for a decade and I'm strongly considering moving out of town due to the city's inability to address this issue. Please do something.
Trash has not been removed by a trash company from Oakdale Square Apartments in over 4 weeks. The dumpster corrals are overflowing and trash is littering the grounds around the dumpsters. The smell is horrible and there is a concern that this is attracting and encouraging pests. (mice, raccoons, etc.)
Hello, I live at Oakdale Square Apartments. Apartment management had an issue with their trash collection service and it has been weeks since trash is collected. Management added a few more temporary dumpsters but existing dumpsters are full of rotting food/feces and causing terrible health hazards. You can't even drive or walk around the whole complex without getting assaulted by the rotting smell, swarm of flies and maggots everywhere. Can city do anything about it? Thank you! Debra
