I was just told that our trash was not out last Friday morning at 6:05AM when your crew came by for our extra trash pick we requested. That is not true. It was out Thursday night and I had to haul it back in at the end of the day Friday. Our trash is always picked up by our garage at the curb on Fess which is where it was. We are on the corner of Fess and University. Maybe your crew did not look on the Fess side of our house.

I own four apartments at 813-819 S Washington through Yukon Properties, LLC. We recently received a notice about trash cans not being timely removed from street side. Can you provide the serial numbers for the trash cans that were issued to each apartment: #813 #815 #817 #819 Once we know the specific serial numbers we can make sure each unit is responsible and accountable for their cans. I found my trash can like this after this morning's pickup. My guess is that it was replaced too close to (or partially in) the road after pickup and it was struck by a vehicle. I also noticed another bin on my block with this same kind of damage.
For the past two weeks our trash and recycle have not been picked up, but our neighbors have. We have paid our bill and we have followed all of the rules listed on your website. The only problem I can see is perhaps the trash and recycle cans were too close to each other, but they had been moved (over 4 feet apart from each other) prior to this Monday morning pick up. We would like our things to be taken, and if possible before the next weekly pick up. Thank you!
I left my old trashcans on the curb yesterday for them to be taken away. They took my old recycle containers but did not take my old trashcans.
I do not see a way on the website to give feedback so I am using this form. I would ask that you forward the information to the Sanitation Department. I was reading the proposed changes to the trash pick-up at https://bloomington.in.gov/sanitationmodernization. It states that the new rates would be $6-$18/month. This penalizes families who work hard to reduce waste. For the past decade or more we have averaged fewer than 8-10 bags of garbage a year. You are proposing that I now start paying a monthly fee whether I put out garbage or not. I will not belabor the point, but you are asking me to go from paying $16/year to, at best, $72/year. This would not appear to incent conservation in any way.

To enhance accessibility for mobility wheelchairs, could sanitation workers please replace empty bins on grass off sidewalks? I am talking about the new sidewalks and walking path on West 17th that are situated by the curb without a grassy strip between the sidewalk and curb. Disabled people have difficulty navigating wheelchairs on trash day. Neighbors place their bins correctly at night but sanitation workers unload the empty bins willy-nilly on the sidewalk. It will take more work but hopefully they understand. Sanitation workers do a great job.
