The occupants of this house stand in the doorway smoking cigarettes and when they are done they throw them into the street. I have seen this many times and they take no caution about any pedestrians who are walking on a sidewalk right into the path of a flying lit cigarette. I do not feel comfortable approaching these people. Thank you for checking on this ongoing littering problem.
This time I have included a photo. This is how the sidewalk and gutter has been since I moved here a year ago. Disgusting. Note the cigarettes on the sidewalk as those are the ones thrown from the door with complete disregard for people walking in the public right of way. Previous Ureport is #175706. I live in a row of townhouses in the Summit Woods neighborhood. We're serviced by two Rays trash dumpsters in the road behind our houses. They have not been picked up in over two weeks and the trash is piling up in a gross and unhealthy way (contractors and college students are also driving in to dump their trash overnight which is making everything worse). I called Rays this morning and they said they can't service these dumpsters because of the snow. I explained that they hadn't been serviced for a week or more before the storm and they disputed this and said there is nothing they can do to help. Is there anything the city can do to help us? There are a lot of families in our neighborhood with small kids and this has become an ongoing health as well as an eyesore issue for us.
Every day after trash and recycling pick-up, there are pieces of trash and recycling all over the road, sidewalk, and yard.

This homeowner takes out her trash and recycling carts on Sunday and places them near the sidewalk. Our neighborhood does not get picked up until Thursday mornings. For 4 days, the neighbors have to look at that eye sore and when it's windy, the cans tip over and debris blows around everywhere. This person should take out their cans on Wednesday evenings like everyone else does. Thank you.
