trash piled up in property and on sidewalk
Trash bins on sidewalk. Tenants have been asked to remove them already, but they dismissively laughed and walked away.
The occupants of this house stand in the doorway smoking cigarettes and when they are done they throw them into the street. I have seen this many times and they take no caution about any pedestrians who are walking on a sidewalk right into the path of a flying lit cigarette. I do not feel comfortable approaching these people. Thank you for checking on this ongoing littering problem.
This time I have included a photo. This is how the sidewalk and gutter has been since I moved here a year ago. Disgusting. Note the cigarettes on the sidewalk as those are the ones thrown from the door with complete disregard for people walking in the public right of way. Previous Ureport is #175706. Trash and recycling has been blocking sidewalk for a week and now is being blown up and down the street.
There are 2 ripped up trash bags lying on the sidewalk at 710 N Lincoln. Trash is spilling out on the sidewalk.
Blood running out of uncollected garbage bags at 703 North Washington Street and pooling on the sidewalk! There are flies swarming around this mess.
Trash bins have been sitting in front yard and on sidewalk for weeks. Request they be stored in back (west side) of house.
Trash bins by sidewalk (on Cottage Grove)
As a long-time rental tenant at 612 N. Lincoln St., I and the neighbor with whom I share this property have been cited at least twice in the past for garbage/public cleanliness violations. Having come home last night from a weekend out of town, I was shocked to see two enormous bags of trash from my neighbors at 610 N. Lincoln St. strewn across the sidewalk in front of my house and down the alley in between our houses. Upon returning home from a long day of work just a moment ago, I have to express my disgust that nothing's been done about it. For a department that is apparently very diligent, it surprises me that this would go unnoticed and uncited. Please send someone to investigate my complaint and cite them, as you have me. I await your response. Thank you for your service, Gregory Morales
