I have been ill with non covid-19 pneumonia and sinus infection for several weeks. I could not have gotten through this period of time if not for the amazing team at Walmart and delivery partners. I know it’s not over but I am feeling so grateful this morning. I am high risk given I’ve been so sick, I’m over weight and I have asthma. They very likely have saved my life. First responders are recognized and given honors by cities all the time so I’m suggesting that someone reach out to or Walmart and all of our local grocery stores at some point so we can bestow some sort of award or honor to these men and women. I’m sure your offices are spread thin right now but at some point I’m the near future I hope this idea will be visited. I would be happy to donate my time any way I can be of use. I am excellent on the phone as I managed a local call center for several years. These workers are not paid well. I believe they need and deserve a huge boost in morale. Local businesses might be willing to give back to them in some way via a discount or free meal etc. Ago at least be acknowledged for the great worth of their hard work and diligence is so very important! Poor dog in the Whittington Commons subdivision is put out for hours at a time on the high deck and barks for hours. Today it has been barking since 5:30 PM; it is now 9:30 PM. Poor thing is out like this daily. He is in distress I think. The residence is in WC close to Bloom Apartments. Please make sure the dog is okay!

Hello, we live in Sherwood Oaks and there is not a safe way to get to the biking trail starting on Rhorer at Walnut Street Pike. People are often walking or biking up the last two blocks of Walnut Street Pike to reach that connection. It's not safe. We'd be so grateful if the sidewalk could be completed on the East Side of Walnut Street Pike between Rhorer and Heather Drive. This would allow people to access Kroger and the Rail Trail more safely. Other wishlist items are paving the rail-trail that connects the B-Line and Clear Creek Trail, and extending sidewalks along Rhorer all the way from Walnut Street Pike to Sare (or at least to Benson). It would also be nice if the sidewalk along the East Side of Walnut Street Pike extended all the way from Rhorer to Winslow, but finishing a sidewalk on the E or W side of Walnut Street Pike between E. Heather and Rhorer is really essential to pedestrian and biker safety. We love all of the investments we're seeing Bloomington making in parks, recreation and infrastructure. We really value this as a family with young children. We're just surprised how patchy the sidewalks surrounding our neighborhood are, with some suddenly stopping (Walnut Street Pike + Rhorer) and others reworked only to a certain point (example biking from Winslow Plaza east to Highland or Allendale is challenging). This makes it difficult to access all of the new paved biking/walking trails that connect to the Rail Trail and B-Line. We hope that COVID-19 does not make continued investments in sidewalks and walking paths impossible. Sincerely, Andrea Nikolova and Dimitar Nikolov 1044 E Jennifer Dr

After the corner of Winslow and Henderson was reconstructed, there has been a serious problem with the drainage after a good rain. As the photo shows, there is a significant puddle on the south east corner and it takes a long time for it to go away. Pedestrians take a risk going around the puddle. Thank you.

Prosecutor and Mayors view on taxes that were in paper the week ending July 19th. I was out of town all week and read the newspaper and for the first time in my 72 years living here was embarrassed to say this was my hometown and am ready to move out of this town.

My recycle bin was not picked up. The sticker placed on the bin indicated "You have nonrecyclable items in your bin. I wnet through my bin and took out some Kroger sacks. My neighbor called you folks and you told her that egg cartons are not recyclable even though the lable clearly says it is. I went to your website and printed out things that are legal and what is not. But if you are at odds with the lables I cant read minds. I took out what items i thought might? be illegal but I'll not do that again. If my recycle bin is not picked up again, I'll no longer recycle.
