Storm drain at the noted location and the one across it are clogged with branches and debris. There is also debris from road paving (asphalt) next to it.
The street drain on the west side of the street is full of debris which inhibits drainage
Clogged storm water drain. Full of debris. Very slow drain. This is second request.
Snow plows bury the one drain for our whole street! After more critical issues are handled right now, can the one outside of our house be cleared so flooding when the snow melts doesn't become a major issue? Thank you!
We're experiencing strong smells of sewage coming from the storm runoff culvert that runs along the east side of our property.
At our residence at 3425 S Glasgow Cir Bloomington IN, there is a storm sewer in the back that got clogged / obstructed today during the flood. Is there a city facilities that can help / support us with the flood issue that occurred? Thank you so much. Best, Aurelian Bidulescu and Lucia Toadere
Hello. Last year there was a major rainstorm in Bloomington that managed to adversely affect the storm drainage between my house and the next door neighbor. The storm activity managed to wash out a small corner of soil on the other side of the fence. Now any time it rains and thereafter, the ground is fairly wet (puddles) and the corner with missing soil fills up. This water manages to linger for days from outside the fence and through the yard. I'm requesting someone from Stormwater to visit my home on 10 June 2022; any time of day is fine. I ask for this date because I'm off work and we can survey together. This has been an ongoing issue for some time and I'm seeking suitable remedy. I have additional photos to share, however, seeing this in person would be beneficial. I couldn't include this on the form, however, my work email is: john.r.jerome.civ@army.mil. I'm most appreciative for any time you're able to spare to look at this issue. Thank you. V/r John
A meter pit at the Brighton Point HOA entryway (corner of Smith Rd and Brighton Ave) was hit by a vehicle a week or so ago. While repairing lawn damage it was discovered today the COB meter pit is leaking. This needs to be inspected.
There are at least 3 steel culverts that have rusted through creating a sharp object hazard along the south side of E Dodds St along the 300, 400 and 500 block. My concern is there are children that play in this residential area and the rusted crevasses could act as a trap for small limbs of children or pets. The culverts are corrugated steel and all seem to be suffering from rust fatigue along the top edge. Thank you for the consideration of replacing these culverts.
