Speed limit sign on Woodlawn north of 10th is upside down
Speed limit sign on Woodlawn north of 10th is upside down
No speed limit signs are in place between 10th and 17th on Fee Ln. Reported on behalf of IU Campus Bus Service.
Overhead lane signs might be helpful for southbound Fee traffic turning onto 10th, making it clear that each lane is left or right turn only.
Lane markings on Third while crossing Dunn would prevent numerous near collisions I've observed. The lane shift confuses motorists.
Needs a no left turn sign! (From union to 3rd)
No signage notifying cars of B-Line trail. This newcomer apologetically backed all the way from the bridge over 3rd back to the entry from the convention ctr parking lot. Since the bars were removed, I've seen this a couple times. The Monon trail has a white stripe down the middle, which could help with this problem and with pedestrians veering into the paths of bikes (a big problem with kids.)
Cars are parking on west side of College from 11th to 14th. Are these legal spots?
Based on my experience over the last three years living near this intersection, I believe we would benefit from a minor change to the traffic pattern at 10th and Range. The left lanes on both sides of the street should be converted to left turn only lanes and the right lane should be converted to through and right turn lanes. Currently, drivers need to use the left lanes to turn left and drivers behind them move to the right lanes to pass them creating unsafe driving conditions. I have seen many near collisions. I think this minor change would make the traffic pattern more safe and efficient with minimal costs to the city. As a concerned citizen, I hope you take this into serious consideration.
11th and Grant. This stop sign is just hanging by a single bolt (with no nut) to the pole. And it is also only approximately five feet off the ground unlike the other stops signs in the area that are about 7 feet off the ground.
