For over 17 years we have lived close to the corner of Dillman and S. Old 37. As I type yet another traffic accident is being cleaned up at this intersection. It is time to have a 4 way stop put in. No more rumble strips, or intersection signs or yellow blinking lights, or cutting back the tree/brush line. (well, that does need to happen:-) This has got to be one of the most dangerous intersections in town. People coming off of 37 drive down old 37 like they are still on the highway. With the amount of houses, buses and children that are living in the area I would have thought that something would have been done by now to fix this problem, which is a serious safety issue to anyone trying to cross the road. The solution of a four way makes since and would not hurt the pocket book of Bloomington. If it is an inconvenience for people to stop then so be it. This has gone on for far too long and all attempts to do something, in the form of rumble strips,intersection signs,yellow blinking lights etc., by the city/county have just been band aids not real solutions. Please take my request seriously. Many of us living on the south side have children who are reaching the age where they will be on the roads as young drivers. As an adult with over 20 years of driving experience, I dread approaching this intersection or even pulling out of my own driveway near this intersection. Its a death trap and a game of chance. The road is too narrow approaching the intersection at Kinser Pike and 45. Traffic gets very crowded and unnecessarily backed up. -Amanda Mentzel (I was unable to put my name in the fields above.)

You guys could start planning out where your guises work zones are going to be throughout the city so you guys don't just have one main street taking you for one side of the highway to the other , But that's just me a citizen and that would make too much sense

The white strips on Rogers Street and Dodds Street indicating where cars are supposed to stop are worn out. Drivers have a habit of driving through the intersection without stopping and drawing more attention to the stops would be beneficial. The stop signs could also have a reflective strip on them to draw more attention to them. 1st Street and Rogers could also benefit from the same improvements.

Can we extend the left turn arrow interval for west bound Patterson onto Rogers so more than three cars can make it through the intersection while Country Club is closed?

Can you add 5 or 10 more seconds to the left turn arrow for Northbound on Walnut left turn onto Grimes? Traffic is backing up to Hillside at all times of the day because of the Country Club closure. 15 seconds is not enough time.

Can you shorten the duration of the green light for Winslow and Country Club since Country Club is closed? There is much less traffic on Winslow now so the light stays green with no traffic at all.

Starting off, this is just a friendly message for maybe a future traffic improvement. 7th & Grant is a 4-way stop. None of the Stop signs has the little "4 WAY" sign under the "STOP" sign.

This is regarding the left turn lane at the Victor Pike intersection for northbound SR 37. There simply NEEDS to be a separate "turn on green only" signal for that lanes. Suppose you are trying to turn left on Victor Pike (away from the Sunoco) but there are 5 cars waiting to turn the opposite direction. You can't see around those cars to tell who is coming southbound on 37. So essentially, it's a guessing game on whether or not you're going to get T-boned by a truck going 60+ mph. I make this turn at 5:30 PM every weekday and have nearly been hit twice over the past week. Please do something about this before my family has to file a life insurance claim. P.S. - I've already ordered a dashcam to document these weekly occurrences.
